Principal

My name is Krista King, and I am honored to serve as the new principal of South Side Elementary School. For the past three years, I have had the privilege of working here as an assistant principal, and I am excited to continue serving this amazing school community in a new role. Prior to my time at South Side, I worked as a Special Education Teacher and Special Education Supervisor. This year marks my 18th year in education, and I believe in working collaboratively with staff, families, and the community to ensure every student is successful. Our mission statement is: Every Student, Every Day, Every Moment Counts. I look forward to partnering with all of you for a year filled with learning, growth, and success.
