Adopt-a-School Program
Volunteer to help children have a full school experience.
Help children enjoy all the experiences that school can offer, build confidence in their academic skills, and have an adult who can focus on them when they are in need. Attending school is more than just the classes on reading and writing. There are field trips to take, school wide events to enjoy, and one on one practice with reading, math, and building confidence as a young person. These additions that round out the expereince need community support, a coming together to help our children grow.
With just an hour a week in one of our schools in need, you can make a real difference through our adopt-a-school program. These schools need chaperones, student success buddies, and mentors for students ages 5-11.
Organizations
Volunteer groups, corporate outreaches, and church groups alike are welcome to adopt one of our schools in need. Your organization will work with the school to develop a plan to assist in a varity of ways. Helping would include helping with field trips and school-wide events that run on volunteer power, a regular time to come and read with a student or help them with math facts, and regular meetings with a mentor for a student in need.

If you are in search of a way to help on your own, there are plenty of opportunities. Reach out and the school will let you know what they current needs are and work together with you to set up a time where you can support.
